Original Copy works with leading cultural and architectural practices to shape ideas and bring them into public form. Our work sits at the intersection of intellectual inquiry and production expertise—developing not only what is made, but how it is understood.

We work closely with our collaborators to develop a shared point of view—helping articulate what matters in a body of work, how it might be framed, and where it can have the greatest impact. Each project is approached as a conversation, grounded in critical inquiry and an understanding of the practical realities of making ambitious work public.

Editorial Direction

We provide editorial leadership for books, publications, and long-form communication projects. This includes developing the conceptual framework, shaping structure and voice, and working closely with authors and collaborators to articulate ideas with precision and depth. Our role is not simply to refine language, but to help define ideas and voice, ensuring that the final work feels cohesive, considered, and purposeful.

Curatorial & Content Development

We work on exhibitions and cultural initiatives that bring together research, design, and narrative. Our curatorial work spans concept development, content strategy, and close collaboration with designers, institutions, and venues to align ideas across spatial, graphic, and editorial dimensions.

Project Leadership

For each collaboration, we offer experienced project stewardship—guiding complex initiatives through the realities of schedules, collaborators, and production. This includes working with graphic designers, publishers, writers, photographers, and institutions to manage schedules, align expectations, and guide projects through the production process. We see this role as a way of supporting both the ideas and the people behind them—helping complex projects move forward with focus and care.

How We Work

Original Copy works best as a long-term collaborator and thought partner. We engage selectively and are most effective when brought in early, as projects are being defined. Our aim is to contribute both intellectual perspective and steady guidance, helping our collaborators see their work more clearly and bring it to completion in a way that feels true to their ambitions.
